Baby Blessing

A special gift to touch the life of every baby

There is nothing more precious to parents than their newly born child and the gift of hope that it brings to them. The birth is a promise to the parents and to the world at large; a continuation of the power of life expressed in the new little face that is held before them.

Babies enter the world surrounded by the dreams, joys and most importantly love of their parents, family and friends.

Every parent has hopes and aspirations that their child grows in good health physically and mentally; that they live a meaningful and fulfilling life; that they develop a kind and loving heart and that they become wise and blessed with good fortune.

On Sunday February 05 in the Chung Tian Temple, the Venerables are holding a special Blessing Ceremony for infants and toddlers with their parents and family.

This traditional ceremony is held to ensure that a child begins life under the guidance and protection of Buddha’s blessing allowing the child to live a happy and fulfilled life in peace and harmony.

Each child will receive the gift of this special blessing as well as being presented with a small memento of the Ceremony.

The Baby Blessing Ceremony like all other events held over the two day Family Fun Day  is a community celebration and is open to all children and families.
